A Bid for the Beautiful
The wonders of Ebay….You can buy ANYTHING! And its all so CHEAP!! The entire contents of my design studio (or spare room) has pretty much come from Ebay. Sewing Machine, overlocker, mannequin, drawing pens… the lot! However, only recently (in my pusuit for the perfect military tailcoat) have I braved the purchase of actual garments. I started gently mind… a pair of loafers here, a boler hat there and then came full on vintage pieces. Who knew!
And so i gladly share with you a little Ebay wonder that comes highly recommeneded by all in the know. The designer who runs this Ebay Shop is also a garment manufacturuer and is incredibly lucky in that she gets given development samples (thats one off’s to me and you) along with dozens of past season samples from high street and designer shops all over the world. She also has a number of vintage garments used for design inspiration, could this possibly be the best Job in the world? All these fantastic garments are now on her own Ebay Shop and the best bit is, she sells them off for a fraction of the original price – LITERALLY!!
There are some beautiful garments that are PERFECT for Christmas and New Year. And most are under a tenner! And at that price it kind of feels OK to get a little creative so it suits you more.
I’ve got my beady eye on this little sparkly number. Made into a mini, and teamed with a boler hat and clutch and i’m good to go.
