I went into Uniqlo for the first time yesterday. It immediately reminded me of Gap with the astonishing colour options of American Apparel. It was neither overpriced, nor a place for the bargain hunters. And a mission statement heard a million times before… ‘To provide people everywhere with the piece they need to create their own style’. 

However, I was both surprised and impressed to learn that earlier in the year, Uniqlo teamed up with the incredibly talented Alexander Wang and also featured style icon Chloe Sevigny as the face of their Summer 2008 Ad campaign.  And now, after a bit more research,  i find my self excited to see what 2009 brings for them!
